Here’s a look at what’s inside a 20oz. single serving of Mountain Dew:

The remaining 10 ingredients in Mountain Dew are man-made commercial ingredients, four of which are banned at Whole Foods >> High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sodium Benzoate, Calcium Disodium Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid and Artificial Color, Yellow 5.
A one serving 20oz. bottle of Mountain Dew contains 77 grams of Added Sugar which is more than 3x higher than the 25 grams The American Heart Association recommends for a child for an entire day. (Source: American Heart Association Web site 2025)
