With the above statement in mind, let’s look at what’s in a Krispy Kreme Glazed Doughnut:
A Krispy Kreme Glazed Doughnut is far from homemade with multiple ingredients we would never use at home to make glazed doughnuts such as 3 FDA-recognized preservatives, emulsifiers, dough conditioners, artificial flavors, locust bean gum, soybean and palm oils >> ingredients we are paying for which don’t need to be there. Krispy Kreme Glazed Doughts contain three ingredients banned at Whole Foods including Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Calcium Propionate and Artificial Flavors >> ingredients which Whole Foods cite as “Unacceptable in food.”

Q: Why do Krispy Kreme Glazed Doughnuts contain three FDA-recognized Chemical Preservatives when they are sold as fast food? Presumably they are made fresh daily (??) . . . so why are their customers paying for and consuming laboratory-created ingredients added to keep them fresh?
