Date Syrup is simply the thick natural “juice” from Dates with the majority of the water removed through an evaporation or steaming process. Sometimes it is referred to as Date Nectar or Date Molasses. It has a naturally sweet caramel-like taste so it’s perfect for all recipes which call for a sweet note plus it’s a great addition to items such as beverages, dressings + marinades and even specialty cocktails.
