There are so many ways to make delicious spicy Chili! Here are some possible ingredients in homemade Chili Seasoning:

Although there are some ingredients we would always include in a recipe for Chili Seasoning, there are many things we would never include in a totally homemade version such as some of the commercial items we see here in the leading U.S. Brands.

ORTEGA INCLUDES INGREDIENTS WE DON’T NEED TO MAKE CHILI: B&G Foods-owned Ortega Reduced Sodium Chili Seasoning Mix contains four ingredients we would never use in our home kitchens to make Chili Seasoning >> these ingredients are designated as Not In Kitchen™ including Citric Acid (an FDA-recognized Chemical Preservative), Sugar, Modified Corn Starch and Enriched Wheat Flour.
